Head to Saint-Denis street, where provocative sex shops and ultra-trendy bistros coexist without inhibition. This is Paris! Falling into the latter category, therefore, is a new, flamboyant XXL establishment that evokes Italy. To create Kuccini, Flavien tirelessly sought out the finest artisans from Italy, recruited a chef from Milan , and enlisted the services of the architect behind Jérôme Dreyfus and Maison Plisson. Quite an undertaking. And because he is truly accommodating, the dishes are available in two formats—tapas or regular—allowing guests to share with a group or enjoy a solo meal.
On the menu: the unveiling of traditional 'mama's recipes', previously unseen in Paris. Examples include Modena crescentine, delightful cushions resembling a cross between bread and a doughnut (€4.50); the impressive blueberry and Taleggio risotto, featuring a cow's milk cheese (€8.50). Less niche but particularly delicious are the Roman-style saltimbocca, veal cutlets topped with prosciutto, sage, and white wine (€18.50). The same applies to desserts, with the divine lemon zest ricotta cream.
Who will you encounter? The discerning palates from showrooms, advertising agencies, and local offices, gathering for a relaxed aperitif after work. YOLO.
Special mention for: the truffle ravioli delivered weekly from Italy #killerdish (€8.50), and the artisanal Transalpine wines (starting from €4.20).
Open Monday to Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM, extending until 11:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
